This page is for the Poralab app. You can ask us to permanently delete your account and the personal data stored with it. You do not need to open the app to send this request.
Request permanent deletion
- Email [email protected] from the email address on your Poralab account.
- Use the subject Delete my Poralab account.
- In the message, write the email or phone number you use to sign in, and say that you want the account and its data deleted.
We confirm the request from that inbox, then delete the account. This usually takes up to 30 days.
What we delete
- Your profile: name, photo, phone number, and the email stored for the account
- Posts, comments, stories, photos, and videos you uploaded
- Chat messages and your friend list
What we may keep
- Security, fraud, and legal records, for up to 90 days, when the law or a dispute requires it
- Data that other people already received, such as a message already delivered to them, until they delete it
Hiding an account inside the app is not deletion
In the Poralab app, open your profile, then Settings, then Account, then Deactivate. That hides your profile from other people. Your data stays on our servers, and signing in again turns the account back on. Use the email request above when you want permanent deletion.
